FAQ
: What is the cell phone policy at RMHS? Cell phone usage falls under the Electronic Devices Policy located in our Student Handbook.
ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Students will use electronic communication or data devices only in a manner consistent with instructional and testing activities in the classroom. These devices include, but are not limited to, handheld calculators, PDA's, pagers, cell phones, music playing devices, cameras, wireless devices, and laptop computers. Use of these devices must not violate any district policy, or cause classroom disruption, nor may they be used in the access, creation, or possession of inappropriate materials (i.e. pornography).  Use of electronic devices in the classroom is at the discretion of the teacher.  Students who bring any electronic device do so at their own risk.  Joint School District No.2 and its schools assume no liability for damage, theft, etc.  Videotaping or taking pictures is prohibited on campus unless approved by building administration.  If the policies are violated, administrators will determine consequences based on the severity of the incident. Additionally, on the first offense the device may be confiscated until a parent picks it up. Our entire 2011-2012 Handbook is online.

In order to make our dress code here at Rocky Mountain more specific, please adhere to the following guidelines when doing your back-to-school shopping. These policies will be adhered to on the first day of school for the 2011-2012 school year:

* Shorts may not have an inseam any smaller than three inches.
* Skirts must be no more than three inches above the knee.
* Tops must have at least a three inch 'sleeve' or 'strap'. Tank tops, for example, with a three inch wide strap are okay, but spaghetti straps, racer back shirts, and any tops with a sleeve or strap of less than three inches are not okay.
