The PLAN test is offered to sophomores. Students register for this test at registration. This test measures skills and abilities highly related to high School course work. It is very similar to the ACT that is a college entrance test. This is a timed test that covers English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science Reasoning. An important component of this test is the inventory results that show the career areas most closely aligned with a person's interest, abilities, and work performances as determined by the composite final score. Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test. This test is offered to JUNIORS. It is the qualifier for the National Merit Scholarship. This test is only given on the national test date and students can pay for the test at registration. It is very similar to the SAT – which is a college entrance exam.
