Steven P. Filer is privileged to be a part of the outstanding staff at Rocky Mountain High School. Mr. Filer is a doctoral candidate at Northcentral University, Department of Psychology. Mr. Filer is currently employed with Meridian School District as a Drug/Alcohol Counselor at Rocky Mountain High School and Eagle High School concurrent to holding positions as an adjunct professor of counselor education at Northwest Nazarene University and Boise State University. Mr. Filer additionally maintains a private clinical mental heath practice in Boise, Idaho. Mr. Filer is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Advanced Certified Alcohol/Drug Counselor (ACADC), and Licensed Social Worker (LSW). Mr. Filer holds National and International Board Certification as a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Master Addictions Counselor (MAC), National Certified School Counselor (NCSC), and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). Additionally, Mr. Filer is a licensed Driving Under Influence/Substance Abuse Evaluator for the state of Idaho and United States Department of Transportation Substance Abuse Evaluator.
