H1N1 Vaccination Information from Central District Health Department:
Central District Health Department (CDHD) will be partnering with the Meridian Joint School District to provide H1N1 flu vaccines to students in the district. CDHD will be coming to your child's school this fall for a one-time vaccination clinic. The date and time has not yet been determined but informational packets with consent forms will be made available closer to the date of the clinic for your child's school. This vaccine is not mandatory, but having your child vaccinated will help to prevent the spread of the flu in the school setting. If you would like to have your child vaccinated against H1N1 flu but do not want the vaccination done in the school setting, other options will be available. If you have questions about H1N1 flu or school-based vaccination, please visit the CDHD website at www.cdhd.idaho.gov or call their H1N1 flu hotline at 321-2222.
