I am currently in my 12th year of teaching Social Studies and coaching girl's basketball in Idaho. I am a native of Pennsylvania where I attended Mansfield University of Pennsylvania on a basketball and track & field scholarship. I graduated in May of 1998 with a BSE in secondary education/social studies.

In August of 1998, I moved to Idaho and began teaching and coaching Girl's Varsity Basketball and boys/girls Track & Field at Garden Valley High School. In 2001, I began at Emmett High School where I served as JV coach from 2001-2003--then was promoted to the Head Girl's Varsity Basketball coach in the spring of 2003 and served until the spring of 2008 where upon I decided to take the Head Girl's Varsity Basketball position at Rocky Mountain High School.

2004 was a busy year for me, in that year I had the privilege to work summer basketball camps at the University of Tennessee under the basketball icon - Pat Summitt - where I learned much valuable information. In that same month, I also worked summer camp at the University of Connecticut. In November, my first daughter Madison was born.

In February of 2007, my second daughter Brooke was born. In May, of that same year, I achieved my Master's degree in Educational Administration through the University of Idaho.

I am truly excited to begin a tradition here at Rocky Mountain High School. I extremely passionate about the game of basketball and hope to spread that passion to our players as well as the idea to always be your best - in play and character.

"Sports do not build character; they reveal it" - John Wooden
